Dr Nathan Luies is Australia’s first Indigenous Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician. with family ties to Broome. He is passionate about returning to the community to work on Country and provide culturally safe, specialist care to the Kimberley region.
Dr Nathan brings extensive experience from elite sport, including current roles with the West Coast Eagles and as a consultant to the AFL. He has previously worked with Cricket Australia, the Australian Institute of Sport, elite basketball and rugby union. He splits his time between Kimberley Medical Group, Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS), the Rural Clinical School of Western Australia, and his elite sporting commitments.
